Job summary

Poudre School District is seeking a Paraprofessional 504 at Dunn Elementary School in Fort Collins, CO. The role supports students with physical and/or mental impairments, assisting with personal care, mobility, and classroom accommodations to enable full participation in activities.

Responsibilities include assisting teachers with materials and assessments, monitoring behavior, and supporting 504 and health-care plans.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of related experience preferred.
• Experience working with students with special needs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the classroom teacher with implementing accommodations and behavior plans.
• Assist students with personal care and mobility; monitor and support during transitions.
• Prepare materials, help administer tests, take attendance, and maintain records.
• Supervise students in class, during breaks, lunch, and field trips; reinforce discipline procedures.
• Participate in 504 meetings, in-service trainings, and parent conferences.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
