Job summary

North Clackamas School District seeks a paraeducator for elementary grades. This 6-hour/day (.75 FTE), part-time, permanent position provides instructional support, supervision, and classroom assistance to teachers and students.

The incumbent will aid with behavior support, tutoring, and safety oversight, while maintaining confidentiality and using basic office and SIS software. A related degree or college coursework is required or preferred, with bilingual skills a plus.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or two years post-high school in related area.
• May require first aid, CPR certification.
• Ability to work with students with varying needs and interruptions.
• Proficiency in English language usage and communication.
• Ability to organize work and protect student confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers with instruction and classroom activities.
• Support student supervision during transitions and breaks.
• Provide limited first aid when necessary and monitor safety.
• Document student progress and communicate with staff as needed.
• Perform clerical duties and use office equipment.
