Job summary

North Clackamas School District is seeking a Paraeducator II for the Middle School Structured Learning Center (SLC) for Academics. 6.5 hours per day, 185-day calendar, part-time and permanent.

The role involves assisting Special Education teachers with instruction, supervision, and support for students with diverse needs in self-contained settings and in one-on-one settings when required.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or two years of post-high school education.
• Ability to be certified in first aid, CPR, and/or AED.
• Ability to train in instructional and behavior intervention methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Assist Special Education teachers in instruction and supervision of students.
• Provide complex toileting, feeding, mobility, and personal hygiene support as needed.
• Support behavior plans and maintain progress reports for students.
