Job summary

Great Hearts Academies is seeking an Elementary Music Teacher for Archway Lincoln Classical Academy in Chandler, AZ. The role involves teaching music within the core curriculum, delivering engaging lessons, and supporting students both academically and behaviorally.

Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree or higher; teaching certification is not required for general education. OPT/CPT candidates are accepted; background checks and fingerprint clearance are required.

• Teach assigned classes using the Great Hearts curriculum and materials, preparing thoughtful lessons and cultivating an orderly, joyful classroom.
• Provide appropriate academic support to students, monitor progress, and partner with school leadership to address needs.
• Uphold and model the culture, policies, and expectations of Great Hearts, including dress code, conduct, and safety procedures.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with families, initiating conferences as needed and fostering home-school partnerships.
• Participate fully in academy life through faculty collaboration, events, duties, and ongoing professional growth.

Position Title: Elementary Music Teacher
Location: Archway Lincoln Classical Academy (2250 S Gilbert Rd, Chandler, AZ 85286)
Reports To: Headmaster
FLSA Status: Salaried-Exempt

• Communicate clearly and professionally with families, initiating conferences as needed and fostering strong home-school partnerships.
• Participate fully in the life of the academy through faculty collaboration, school events, assigned duties, and a shared commitment to ongoing professional growth and excellence in teaching.

Required/Preferred Education

• Bachelor's or higher degree is required for a lead teaching role
• Certification is not required for general education
• All majors are welcome
