AXIS International Academy Fort Collins seeks a dedicated Long-Term Substitute Elementary Intervention and Student Support Teacher to join the MTSS team. The role includes small-group instruction, reading intervention, and ELD/IEP support under licensed supervision.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's in Elementary Education and 2 years of teaching experience; Reading Specialist is preferred. The position is full-time, temporary, starting Jan 2027 with May 2027 end date.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in an elementary setting.
• Strong understanding of effective teaching strategies for elementary students.
• Excellent communication, organization and classroom management skills.
• Special Education License preferred, but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct instruction using evidence-based practices and AXIS curricula to meet student needs.
• Collaborate with general education teachers and paras on inclusive practices and differentiation.
• Administer assessments and coordinate accommodations/modifications for identified students.
• Follow the direction of the Director of Student Supports and MTSS team.
