AXIS International Academy Fort Collins seeks a Long-Term Substitute Elementary Student Supports Teacher to join our MTSS team. You will provide direct instruction to small groups and coordinate reading intervention and ELD goals under licensed supervision.

The role emphasizes collaboration with teachers, data-driven progress monitoring, and documentation of student plans. Candidates should have a Bachelor's in Elementary Education and at least 2 years of elementary teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education is required.
• Reading Specialist degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of elementary teaching experience.
• Strong communication, organization and classroom management skills.
• Special Education license preferred but not required.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct instruction using evidence-based AXIS curricula for reading and ELD goals.
• Collaborate with general education staff on inclusive practices and accommodations.
• Administer progress monitoring and assessments; coordinate service minutes and plans.
• Follow directions of the Director of Student Supports.
