Job summary

Darlington County School District seeks a Coordinator of Elementary Math and Science within the Division of Curriculum and Instruction to lead HQIM implementation across K-5. This 240-day administrative position focuses on data-driven decision making and MTSS supports for Tier I-III students.

The role requires a master's degree, SC principal certification preferred, and significant classroom teaching experience.

Qualifications

Master's Degree required.
SC Principal Certification preferred.
Administrative or coaching experience preferred.
ADEPT/STEP training preferred.
Five years or more experience as a classroom teacher.
Formal training in elementary education content and pedagogy.

Responsibilities

Lead HQIM implementation in math across all K5 schools.
Coach and support teachers through modeling lessons and PLCs.
Support MTSS framework and collaboration with Special Education and ML teams.
Use data to inform instruction and acceleration plans.
Ensure instructional alignment and pacing with HQIM expectations.
Lead professional learning and collaborate with coaches to strengthen teaching and learning.
Contribute to curriculum coherence and district planning and compliance.
