Job summary

Pueblo City Schools is seeking a .5 Math/ .5 Reading Interventionist at Franklin Elementary School in Pueblo, Colorado. The role supports elementary literacy and math, following the district’s mission and the Teacher Salary Schedule.

The Interventionist will plan and implement instruction, monitor progress, and collaborate with staff, families, and students to promote achievement and equity. 165 school days, readings and math emphasis.

Qualifications

• Valid Colorado Teaching License within 60 days from date of hire.
• Elementary Education Endorsement or highly qualified via endorsement/credits/Praxis.
• Fingerprint-based background check cleared by Human Resources.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, written and oral.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and implement instructional program for elementary or secondary learners.
• Deliver reading and math interventions and align with the district curriculum.
• Monitor student progress and maintain appropriate records and reports.
• Collaborate with staff, parents, and students to support literacy and numeracy goals.
• Adhere to district policies and teacher contract terms.
