Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of student behavior and family dynamics within LCPS.
• Ability to supervise children, maintain discipline, and perform lunchroom duties.
• Strong human relations and communication skills for interacting with students, staff and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee students from entry to exit of the lunchroom.
• Assist students with lunch line tasks (condiments, opening milk, napkins, etc.).
• Supervise conduct, seating, and needs of students to maintain an orderly lunchroom.
• Assist parents, relatives or visitors who enter the lunchroom.
• Arrange tables for seating of students.
• Assist with lunchroom cleanup after classes and at day’s end.
• Know appropriate fire exits to use in emergencies.
• Perform related work as required.
