Job summary

Seekonk Public Schools is seeking an Elementary Teacher for a long-term substitute position at Martin Elementary School in Seekonk, Massachusetts. The role begins November 23, 2026 for approximately 12 weeks, with a daily rate of $125.00–$275.54 and reports to the Building Principal.

The teacher will provide instruction across language arts, social studies, reading, mathematics, science, art, PE, and music following MA Curriculum Frameworks and district standards.

Qualifications

• Licensed, or eligible for licensure in Elementary, Levels 1-6 and/or Early Childhood: Teacher of Students With and Without Disabilities PreK-2 and/or Early Childhood: Teacher of Students With and Without Disabilities PreK-3 per MA DESE.

Responsibilities

• Provide learning experiences across language arts, social studies, reading, math, science, art, PE, and music.
• Monitor and adjust instruction to student understanding.
