Job summary

Jamestown Community Center is seeking a part-time Girls Got Goals coach to lead and coordinate the 3rd–5th‑grade girls’ soccer team within our after-school program. The role requires teaching basic soccer fundamentals, supervising practices and games, and ensuring safe, positive youth engagement at BVHM & Longfellow Elementary.

Applicants should have soccer coaching experience with 7–10‑year‑old girls, experience in girls’ sports programming, and the ability to communicate with parents.

Qualifications

• Experience coaching soccer with 7-10-year-old girls.
• Experience in girls' sports programming.
• Ability to work with multi-ethnic, multicultural youth.
• Willingness to obtain US Soccer coaching license.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the 3rd-5th-grade girls’ soccer team within After-School program.
• Teach basic soccer fundamentals to girls ages 7-10.
• Supervise practices and games and provide support to youth workers.
• Maintain open communication with parents regarding schedules and attendance.
• Attend supervision meetings with Sports Director and develop team-building workshops.
