Job summary

Grand Canyon University (GCU) is seeking a CSLP student worker to support elementary-level instruction and classroom activities in collaboration with Empower College Prep in Phoenix. The role emphasizes helping students understand concepts, creating visual aids, and handling routine tasks essential to classroom operations.

The position is part-time with a flexible schedule aligned to ECP hours; it is approved as Community Service under 34 CFR 675.2(b).

Qualifications

• Enrolled at GCU in a bachelor’s program or master’s program full-time during fall/spring or half-time during summer.
• Maintain a 2.0 GPA as a Bachelor level student or a 3.0 GPA as a Master level student.
• Maintain good financial and academic (SAP) standing with the University.
• You may be subject to termination if you fall below the minimum requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide support during small-group instruction to promote scholar understanding and successful completion of teacher-assigned work.
• Create graphics such as posters and anchor charts.
• Make copies.
• Other duties as assigned.
