Job summary

Queen Creek Unified School District is seeking an Instructional Assistant - Title I to support classroom learning and interventions in a busy school setting. This 29-hour-per-week position runs Monday through Friday, assisting teachers with small groups and individual students as needed.

You will reinforce instruction, monitor progress, and help with intervention activities under supervision. A valid Paraprofessional credential or 60 college credits plus a background clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or equivalent.
• HQ Paraprofessional with Associate's degree of 60 college credit hours or pass ParaPro Exam.
• Ability to monitor and supervise groups of students.

Responsibilities

• Reinforce learning for individual students or groups.
• Assist with independent study, enrichment, and remedial work.
• Maintain confidentiality of student and staff information.
• Assist teacher with evaluating student progress.
• Support with classroom supervision during drills and assemblies.
