Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy classroom
• CDA Credential or NAEYC candidacy is required or in progress
• State trainer approval is preferred
• 2–3 years of Early Childhood Education experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred
• Meet state qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
• Physically able to lift up to 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors
• Read, write, speak English to communicate with children and families

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum consistent with each child’s needs
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn
• Partner and connect with parents to provide top care and education for their children
• Support center success by partnering with staff and leadership on enrollment, accreditation and engagement
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners
