Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies seeks a dedicated Teacher to lead and mentor in the classroom, delivering our curriculum and creating a safe, nurturing environment for children. You will partner with parents to ensure high-quality care and education, and work with staff to support enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, teamwork, and adherence to state qualifications, with opportunities for professional growth and impact across our nationwide centers.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to multi-task and handle multiple situations effectively.
• Active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or be NAECY candidacy.
• Approved state trainer (preferred).
• 2-3 years Early Childhood Education experience (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
• Meet state qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Physically able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner and connect with parents to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Support center success by collaborating with staff and leadership on enrollment, accreditation and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, and community partners.
