ADM Community School District's Meadow View Elementary in Adel, Iowa seeks an associate to support teachers and students in a 2nd-4th grade setting. Work hours are 7:30am-3:15pm Monday-Thursday and 7:45am-1:00pm Friday, with part-time status and a pay range of $16.36-$18.16 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• Demonstrated aptitude for the work to be performed.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to work well with staff, parents, and students.

Responsibilities

• Work with individual students or in small groups to help achieve skills and understanding of class material.
• Assist the teacher by developing strategies for reinforcing material based on individual needs.
• Alert the regular teacher to any problems or special information regarding a student.
• Supervise students during arrival, recess, dismissal, and lunch periods.
