We are a full Spanish immersion preschool and a dual immersion elementary school (K–4). Our team includes a majority of native Spanish-speaking educators and a strong group of bilingual staff who bring their passion for working with children and their love for language and culture into the classroom each day. We are committed to providing a well-rounded, high-quality education that nurtures bilingualism, biliteracy, and a global perspective. Our small class sizes in elementary support close relationships and individualized instruction in a culturally rich learning environment.
Role Description
We are seeking a passionate and experienced educator to lead English Literacy instruction for students in grades K–4, with Social Studies integrated meaningfully within the literacy curriculum. This is a full-time position supported by a dedicated classroom assistant and involves working with mixed-grade groups. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong skills in teaching English literacy—both spoken and written—grounded in the Science of Reading. Bilingualism is not required. Instruction may be delivered through small groups or classroom rotations, in close collaboration with classroom teachers to create engaging, developmentally appropriate, and content-rich lessons.
Qualifications
*Teaching certification preferred or prior elementary teaching experience
* At least 3 years of classroom teaching experience preferred
*Solid understanding of structured literacy and the Science of Reading
*Strong communication and classroom management skills
*Comfortable working with multiple grade levels and adapting instruction accordingly
*While we are not a Montessori school, we welcome applicants with Elementary Montessori training or experience, as this can support success in mixed-grade settings
