Job summary

Minneapolis Public Schools is seeking an Elementary Interventionist for Riverbend Education Center. This role focuses on small-group literacy, math, science, and social studies with targeted interventions to raise student achievement.

You will monitor student progress using diagnostic, formative, and summative assessments, and collaborate with families and the campus STEM team to ensure integrated instruction aligned to standards. A Minnesota Elementary license is required or pending.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
• Minnesota Elementary teaching license or pending licensure.
• Experience in urban/multicultural education settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach literacy, math, science and social studies to elementary students in small groups.
• Plan and monitor progress of small-group interventions.
• Use diagnostic, formative and summative assessments to inform instruction.
• Collaborate with families and campus STEM team to support learning.
• Align instruction to state and national standards.
