Job summary

Applitrack is seeking an Instructional Paraprofessional - Elementary to support classroom instruction and supervise special needs students in a resource setting. This role includes assisting in implementing IEP/504 plans, adapting activities, and providing clerical support to teachers.

Multiple positions available across the district. Hours per day are 5 with hourly rate options (Untrained Lane 5 and Trained Lane 6). Contact Chris McDonald for details at 385-579-7320.

Qualifications

• Supports instructional program for students with special needs in a resource classroom.
• Assists in implementing instruction and IEP/504 plans.
• Monitors student behavior during non-classroom time.
• Provides clerical support to teachers and staff.
• May require in-district training to qualify for lane advancement.

Responsibilities

• Adapt activities and materials under teacher direction to reinforce classroom objectives and IEP goals.
• Provide immediate first aid and basic health assistance as trained by health professionals.
• Administer tests, homework, and makeup work to support teachers.
• Assist with data collection to monitor student progress.
• Support students with self-care activities and learning tasks.
• Supervise and escort students to classes to ensure safety and a positive learning environment.
