Responsibilities

• Adapts classroom activities, assignments and materials under supervising teacher guidance to support objectives and IEP goals.
• Assists with supervising and caring for students, including monitoring behavior and safety.
• Provides instruction to students individually or in small groups to reinforce learning concepts and grade-level standards.
• Administers tests, homework, and makeup work to support classroom instruction.
• Maintains instructional materials and classroom records; assists in clerical duties as needed.
