Job summary

The School District of Ashland is seeking a Support Staff/Supervision Assistant for Lake Superior Elementary to help with in-class support, differentiation, and small-group instruction. The position runs 7.5 hours/day four days per week (Tue–Fri) from 8:00am to 3:15pm, with a 30-minute lunch, and is a 1-year assignment for the 2026-27 school year.

Qualifications include being at least 18 years old, a high school diploma or equivalent, and 3–6 months of experience in an early childhood setting.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Have completed high school or its equivalent, as determined by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction
• Have at least 3-6 months of past experience in an early childhood setting.

Responsibilities

• Support instruction in core subject areas with differentiation.
• In-class support sitting with identified students clarifying, redirecting, encouraging students.
• Small group instruction with identified students in class or pull out.
