Job summary

Cobb County School District is seeking a Paraprofessional, Instructional to assist with educational activities under the guidance of the classroom teacher. The role emphasizes student support, material preparation, and supervised classroom activities.

Qualified candidates will meet GaPSC requirements, hold the appropriate credential or coursework, and be able to assist with classroom duties including supervision and data collection. This is a full-time, on-site position in Cobb County.

Qualifications

• Educational requirements meet GaPSC guidelines: an associate degree or 60 semester hours, or a high school diploma with GACE Paraprofessional.
• Must maintain Georgia Paraprofessional Certificate including in-service training.
• Written and oral communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist with student instructional activities under the teacher's supervision.
• Conduct small group or individual activities based on lesson plans.
• Assist with student assessment and data collection.
• Provide classroom support and supervise students as needed.
• Prepare and organize instructional materials and equipment.
