Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Bilingual and/or Biliterate (Spanish) preferred.
• Must meet one or more: AA degree or 72 quarter credits or 48 semester credits or passing score on the ETS paraeducator assessment.
• Prior paraeducator experience or related work preferred.
• First aid and/or CPR card for infants and children, or willingness to obtain.
• Experience in a K-12 setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administers first aid to provide emergency care.
• Provide one-on-one or small-group instruction.
• Assist classroom teacher and/or administrator with classroom management.
• Prepare materials needed for lessons.
• Supervise students during arrival/departure, recess, meals, and transitions.
