Yoncalla School District seeks qualified applicants for the position of Elementary Instructional Assistant to begin immediately.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Pay Rate: $16.56 - $19.17 per hour

Hours/Days: 165 days per year / 4 days per week / 6* hours per day of paid work time plus a 30-minute unpaid meal period, for a total of 6.5 hours on site each workday

JOB SUMMARY

Assists teaching staff by performing instructional tasks with elementary students in large groups, small groups and occasionally in one-on-one settings. The position will also aid in record keeping, and supervision. Performs duties with moderate supervision.

DUTIES

• Communicate effectively and professionally with teachers, administrators, and specialists as directed.
• Maintain confidentiality of student information in accordance with district policies and state and federal regulations.
• Support students with accommodation and modifications as directed by licensed staff.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and required district training.
• Foster positive relationships with students, staff, and the school community.
• Maintain regular attendance, punctuality, and dependable work habits.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities related to the position as assigned by the supervising teacher or building administrator.
• Other duties as may be assigned.
