Job summary
Madrona Elementary School in Grants Pass, Oregon is seeking an Instructional Assistant-ELEMENTARY for the Three Rivers School District. The role is part-time with 7 hours per day, 4 days per week, 155 days per year, located at Madrona Elementary School.
The position offers $17.20–$21.79 per hour with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental and vision, and PERS retirement contributions. Applicants must meet education requirements and be fingerprinted; bilinguals are encouraged
Qualifications
- Able to work with small children.
- Proficient in elementary school level math, spelling, reading and English usage.
- Good computer skills.
- Assist teacher as needed / Supervision duties as needed.
- Ability to take initiative and be self-directed.
- Ability to conduct small reading groups under teacher direction.
- Ability to discipline with dignity.
- Must qualify or meet standard for highly qualified para-professional.
