THREE RIVERS/JOSEPHINE COUNTY SD is seeking an Instructional Assistant-Elem at Williams Elementary School in Williams, Oregon. This part-time position is 3.75 hours per day, 4 days a week, 155 days per year. Starting immediately with a salary range of $17.20 to $21.79 per hour and eligibility for a comprehensive benefits package.

Bilingual and biliterate candidates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Able to work with small children.
• Proficient in elementary math, spelling, reading and English usage.
• Good computer skills.
• Assist teacher as needed / Supervision duties as needed.
• Ability to take initiative and be self-directed.
• Ability to conduct small reading groups under teacher direction.
• Ability to discipline with dignity.
• Must qualify or be able to meet standard for highly qualified para-professional.
