Job summary

Douglas County School District is seeking a Custodian - Elementary Building Engineer at Rock Ridge Elementary. The role covers maintenance, cleaning, and setup requests to support a safe and conducive learning environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 40 hours per week.
• Ability to perform physical tasks per requirements (lifting, standing, walking).

Responsibilities

• Promote the learning environment by performing maintenance, cleaning, and setup requests within Custodial responsibilities.
• Ensure inspections on building, grounds, and equipment are done weekly.
• Maintain overall cleanliness, safety, and sanitation of the facility, grounds, and equipment.
• Supervise custodial personnel and coordinate with Group Leader and Building Administrator.
• Remove snow and ice from walkways, entries, and play areas as required.
• Support District sustainability policies.
