Job summary

Douglas County Facilities Department is seeking a full-time Custodian to perform basic custodial maintenance in county buildings, restocking supplies, and securing offices after cleaning. Qualifications

• One year progressively responsible work experience in custodial maintenance in an institution or on a large scale.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, procedures, equipment, and supplies used in custodial maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Dust, clean work surfaces.
• Vacuum/clean floors.
• Clean and supply restrooms.
• Empty trash.
• Clean, mop, strip, wax and buff floors.
• Shampoo carpets with extractor.
• Wash windows, blinds, walls and ceilings.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms.
• Inventory and restock local supply areas.
