Job summary

Jefferson County Schools Wright Denny Intermediate in Charles Town, West Virginia is seeking an itinerant English Language Learners (ELL) teacher for a 200-day assignment. You will provide elementary instruction under the building principal and align with WV standards to meet learning objectives.

Responsibilities include planning and assessing curriculum, supporting inclusion for students with IEPs/504 plans, coordinating with interventionists, and using technology to enhance learning.

Qualifications

• Valid teaching certificate licensing the individual to teach in the specialization and grade levels.
• Criminal background check conducted pursuant to WV Code requirements.
• Meet WV Code qualifications §18A-3-2a.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement and assess curriculum based on WV Content Standards and Objectives.
• Implement adopted and supplemental academic programs.
• Plan and implement inclusion with special education students.
• Administer formative and/or summative assessments.
• Collaborate with interventionists and share data to support targeted interventions.
