Qualifications

• Valid teaching certificate licensing the individual to teach in the specified specializations and grade levels.
• Criminal background check conducted pursuant to WV Code.
• Meet the qualifications outlined in WV Code §18A-3-2a.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement curriculum based on WV Content Standards and Objectives.
• Develop and implement Individual Education Programs (IEPs) according to Policy 2419.
• Implement adopted and supplemental academic programs and 21st Century technology skills.
• Monitor student progress on IEP objectives and instructional goals.
• Prepare and conduct formative assessments and tiered instruction for reading and math as applicable.
• Foster a classroom climate conducive to learning and maintain professional responsibilities.
