The Creighton Academy, operated by Creighton School District, seeks an elementary school teacher to deliver instruction to diverse learners and implement differentiated curricula.

The role involves collaboration with teachers, interpreters, and health providers to support students with special needs and to develop and update IEPs. Arizona teaching credentials and fingerprint clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
• Arizona Department of Education Teaching Certificate.
• Arizona IVP fingerprint clearance card.

Responsabilités

• Prepares and delivers instruction appropriate to elementary students including differentiated curriculum to address learning styles, behavior problems, and students with special needs.
• Develops and implements curriculum including determination of instructional resource use and delivery; may function as Teacher Specialist servicing math, literacy, technology, prevention, curriculum, and library management.
• Develops specialized curriculum across the District and plans for differentiated instruction for special needs students with collaboration from teachers, interpreters, administrators, and allied health providers.
• Develops, reviews, revises, and implements IEPs; evaluates student performance and behavior; maintains attendance records; shares curriculum with parents and staff; and plans staff development.
• Performs clerical duties such as copying, laminating, filing, word processing, data entry, and ordering materials; assists with student hygiene as needed.
• Prepares classrooms and educational settings for instruction; coordinates technology and equipment and prepares written materials to support program implementation and staff development.
• Reviews and researches curricula; designs staff development programs; manages budgets; coordinates peer coaching and mentoring programs.
• Participates in school and learning-related extracurricular activities; reviews District materials; trains staff on programs and technologies; coordinates career ladder programs and evaluations.
