Job summary

Bangor School Department is seeking an Educational Technician I, II, or III for the Fourteenth Street School. The role runs 6.75 hours daily from 8:30am to 3:45pm, with compensation ranging from $21.47 to $28.36 per hour depending on certification level and experience.

The successful candidate will support ABA strategies, behavior management, and IEP implementation within a team-structured environment. Willingness to assist with toileting and familiarity with Safety Care may be required.

Qualifications

• Authorization as an Educational Technician I, II, or III required.
• Knowledge of behavior-management strategies necessary.
• Ability to implement behavior plans and individual education plans needed.
• Experience working in an elementary school setting helpful.
• Experience working in a program for children with emotional disabilities and Autism preferred.
• Desire to work in a team-approach environment.
• Willingness to assist with toileting may be necessary.
• Willingness to learn and use physical restraint and Safety Care strategies.
• Ability to use ABA Discrete Trial instruction preferred.
