The University of Delaware is seeking an enthusiastic elementary teacher to join our dual language program at Salida del Sol Academy in Colorado. The successful candidate will engage students in a vibrant learning environment, instilling a love for education while facilitating both academic progress and personal growth.

This role requires excellent communication, organizational skills, and a strong commitment to fostering student success, including ensuring all necessary adjustments for diverse learning needs.

The competitive compensation includes a salary range of $52,000-$64,130 and comprehensive employee benefits.

Responsabilités

• Support the Mission and Vision of Salida del Sol Academy.
• Sharing your passion helping young students develop a love of learning.
• Implement Dual Language Instruction lesson cycle.
• Instruct and motivate students to find joy in all content areas.
• Evaluate student’s progress and inform parents of results.
• Maintain discipline in the classroom.
• Communicate often with parents regarding student progress.
• Participate in faculty and professional meetings.
• Inspire students to build self-esteem and promote success.
• Work with the Special Education teacher to ensure modifications.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Formation

Bachelor's degree from an accredited College or University

Colorado Teacher's Certification in Elementary

Passing score on the PRAXIS 5205 & 5903 examinations

Any Colorado Teaching Certification

Bilingual and biliterate in English and Spanish
