How You Will Impact Education

Instruction/Education Responsibilities

1. Review plans and schedules with the principal, supervisor, or designated teacher.
2. Teach lessons prepared by the absent teacher.
3. Report the day's activities in writing and provide feedback as requested.
4. Follow all school and CSUSA policies, rules, and procedures.
5. Consult with the principal or supervisor before initiating any lesson not specified in the plans.

Student Management

1. Maintain established routines and procedures.
2. Oversee pupil behavior and maintain appropriate conduct.

School/Community Relations

1. Maintain good relations with faculty and staff.
2. Handle student and staff information confidentially.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Enthusiasm and commitment to the mission of CSUSA.
• Ability to work with staff and relate to individuals at all levels.
• Effective time management skills.
• Basic computer skills (Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong communication skills (oral, written, interpersonal).
