Your Responsibilities As a Daily Substitute

• Execute provided lesson plans
• Collect student work and provide feedback as needed
• Ensure agendas, objectives, and homework are displayed accurately

Help Build a Positive School and Classroom Culture

• Embodies and maintains school’s values, policies, and culture
• Develops positive relationships with students, families, teachers, and staff

Demonstrate a Growth Mindset

• Give and receive positive and constructive feedback with colleagues

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Pass Criminal Background Check
• Commitment to closing the opportunity gap
• Zest, grit, professionalism, and a sense of humor

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree
• Experience in high-performing charter schools or schools with high free/reduced lunch populations
• Fluency in Spanish

Compensation

Daily substitutes earn $120 per day worked. This position is on an as-needed basis without benefits.
