Job summary

Urbana School District #116 is seeking an Elementary Curriculum & Professional Development Grade Level Leader (2nd grade) for Urbana, IL. This stipend position supports district-wide grade level teams with curriculum and professional development initiatives.

Leaders will provide instructional leadership, coordinate professional development activities, and help implement district programs such as Amplify CKLA, Illustrative Math, and NWEA MAP assessments.

• Ability to form strong professional relationships with colleagues.
• Commitment to professional growth and district initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Director of Curriculum and Student Learning to plan, implement, and evaluate district staff development.
• Coordinate communication between buildings and the Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment Department.
• Plan professional development for Opening Institute Day and Staff Development Days.
• Organize after-school PD sessions and share notes via a common document.
