JOB SUMMARY: Elementary Grade Level Leaders provide instructional leadership and professional development opportunities related to the curriculum, assessment, and instruction for district-wide grade level teams. They are responsible for collaborating with the Director of Curriculum and Student Learning and other Central Office staff members to coordinate grade level elementary professional development and curriculum initiatives.
Elementary Grade Level Leaders should be prepared to provide support and lead reflection around district curricular initiatives such as Amplify CKLA, Illustrative Math, the Eight Mathematical Practices and Mathematical Teaching Practices, Mystery Science, SEL, Social Studies units, literacy initiatives, and NWEA MAP and mClass assessments.

EVALUATION: The performance of this job will be evaluated by the Director of Curriculum & Instruction, in consultation with building principal(s) , in accordance with provisions of the negotiated agreement using the district’s evaluation instrument.
START DATE: SY 2026-2027
NOTES: In order to more fully support the implementation and use of the above mentioned programs and materials, preference will be given to candidates who are able to commit to the four Professional Development Days, Quarterly Meetings with the Director of Curriculum and Student Learning, and Opening Day Professional Development. Stipends can be prorated based on work performance and attendance at meetings.
