Qualifications

Must possess the minimum of a high school diploma or equivalency.
Prior classroom experience preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills.
Knowledge of computer and work room equipment.
Valid Indiana Driver’s License
Must pass pre-employment criminal history check

Responsibilities

Work with groups of students inside and/or outside the classroom in small groups or one-on-one.
Monitor appropriate student behavior and assist with classroom management.
Assist with supervision in various locations throughout the school day.
Communicate effectively with students, parents and staff.
Maintain a neat and orderly classroom and assist with end-of-day tasks.
Support health, welfare and safety of students and assist with bus needs.
Participate in staff development and school activities as assigned.
