Job summary

Beebe School District is seeking a dedicated paraprofessional to support teachers and students in grades 2–4 at Beebe Elementary School. The role involves assisting with instruction, providing individualized and small-group academic support, and helping maintain a positive learning environment.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED and meet Arkansas paraprofessional requirements, with experience working with elementary-aged children being preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist certified teachers with daily classroom instruction and activities.
• Work with individual students and small groups to reinforce academic skills.
• Support students with assigned interventions and accommodations.
• Help prepare instructional materials and classroom resources.
• Supervise students in classrooms, hallways, cafeteria, playground, and during other duties.
• Foster positive relationships with students while promoting appropriate behavior and classroom expectations.
• Assist with classroom organization and record keeping as directed.
• Support students with technology and educational software.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding student records and information.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to meet student needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the principal or supervising teacher.
