Position Summary

Beebe School District is seeking a dedicated, caring, and dependable paraprofessional to support teachers and students in grades 24. The successful candidate will assist with classroom instruction, provide individualized and small-group academic support, help maintain a positive learning environment, and contribute to the overall success and well-being of students.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist certified teachers with daily classroom instruction and activities.
  • Work with individual students and small groups to reinforce academic skills.
  • Support students with assigned interventions and accommodations.
  • Help prepare instructional materials and classroom resources.
  • Supervise students in classrooms, hallways, cafeteria, playground, and during other assigned duties.
  • Foster positive relationships with students while promoting appropriate behavior and classroom expectations.
  • Assist with classroom organization and record keeping as directed.
  • Support students with technology and educational software.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding student records and information.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to meet student needs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the principal or supervising teacher.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Must meet Arkansas Department of Education requirements for paraprofessionals (such as completion of required assessments or college credit, if applicable).
  • Experience working with elementary-aged children is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Demonstrate patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
Physical Requirements
