Qualifications

• Must hold a Bachelor’s degree and NC Elementary Teacher license.
• Strong knowledge of North Carolina Course of Study and Essential Standards.
• Ability to plan effective instruction for diverse learners.

Responsibilities

• Provides learning experiences and teaches the course of study prescribed by the District approved curriculum.
• Develops suitable instructional materials for a wide range of learners.
• Delivers individual and group instruction to meet student needs and motivate progress.
• Maintains student records and assesses academic and social growth.
• Communicates with parents and holds conferences on student progress.
• Collaborates with staff to support student health, attitude, and learning problems.
• Creates engaging classroom environments with displays and centers.
• Participates in PLCs and uses technology to enhance instruction.
