Position Summary

The classroom teacher supports Storm Lake Community School District's commitment to ensuring all students achieve at grade level within a safe, inclusive, and student-centered learning environment. This role designs and delivers rigorous, relevant instruction while building strong relationships with students and families. • Plan and deliver rigorous, standards-aligned instruction to ensure students meet grade-level expectations.
• Use formative and summative assessment data to monitor progress and adjust instruction to meet diverse learning needs.

Professional Expectations

• Contract days and salary placement are determined by the Master Contract agreement.
• Evaluation will be conducted in accordance with the Iowa Teaching Standards and district evaluation procedures.
• Employment is contingent upon valid Iowa licensure and required endorsements.
