Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Administers elementary curriculum aligned with district goals.
• Maintains safe, conducive learning environments for various group sizes.
• Develops and translates lesson plans for effective instruction.
• Assesses student learning and adapts methods for needs including students with disabilities.
• Instructs students in responsible citizenship and state/federal guidelines.
• Keeps accurate records of grades, attendance, and activities.
• Communicates with parents and involves families in education.
• Maintains classroom discipline and supports positive student behavior.
• Collaborates with grade-level staff to evaluate and improve curriculum.
• Assists with books, supplies, and inventory as needed.
• Supervises students during school activities and transportation.
• Administers district-standardized tests.
