Job summary

Devereux is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for the Neshaminy School District's Elementary Autistic Support Program. The role focuses on delivering IEP-aligned instruction and fostering a supportive classroom for elementary students with autism.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in special education or related field required.
• Master’s degree in special education preferred.
• PA Department of Education certification as teacher preferred.
• At least one year of experience with autism or related populations; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction aligned with each student’s IEP.
• Create a structured, engaging learning environment for elementary students with autism.
• Collaborate with related service providers, staff, and families.
• Monitor progress and document in compliance with state and district requirements.
• Apply evidence-based instructional and behavioral strategies to promote success.
