Job summary

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health is seeking a passionate Special Education Teacher to provide services in Neshaminy School District's Elementary Autistic Support Program.

Responsibilities include delivering instruction aligned with each student's IEP, creating a structured learning environment for elementary students with autism, collaborating with related service providers, and monitoring progress while complying with state and district requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in special education or related field required.
• Master’s degree in special education preferred.
• PA Department of Education certification as teacher preferred.
• At least one year of experience with individuals with autism or other special education populations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialized instruction aligned with each student’s IEP.
• Create a structured, engaging learning environment for elementary students with autism.
• Collaborate with related service providers, school staff, and families to support student growth.
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation per state/district requirements.
• Implement evidence-based instructional and behavioral strategies to promote student success.
