Job summary

Spring Independent School District is seeking an experienced Attendance Clerk for the ACE Campus in Houston. The role focuses on accurate attendance records, compliance with laws, and daily reporting. Immediate starting date, 203 days per year, nonexempt, Para 4 pay grade.

Required is a High School Diploma with strong Excel and data-entry skills; preferred is an associate’s degree and prior secondary school experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma from an accredited institution.
• Associate’s degree preferred for advancement.

Responsibilities

• Maintain confidentiality of information.
• Prepare and maintain records required by federal, state and local laws/regulations.
• Post daily absentee codes on appropriate records for review by an administrator.
• Run daily attendance reports and communicate information to school personnel.
• Assist training staff on attendance protocols and attendance-taking procedures.
