Job summary

Mahan Elementary School in Norwich, CT is seeking an Elementary Attendance, Engagement & Afterschool Coordinator to lead attendance improvement, family engagement, and the afterschool program. Qualifications

• Requires a four‑year college degree or equivalent experience in education, social services, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Improve attendance and on-time arrival through outreach and engagement with families.
• Schedule and coordinate afterschool program activities and staff.
• Collaborate with administrators, teachers and parents to support attendance goals.
• Coordinate transportation, space usage, and supply requests for afterschool programs.
• Submit end-of-year reporting and ensure grant compliance.
