Job summary

St. Therese Catholic Academy in Seattle is seeking an Elementary Art teacher for the 26-27 school year. The role covers Kindergarten through 8th grade and offers potential for full-time employment.

Candidates should be mission-driven, creative, and comfortable working in a diverse, faith-centered Catholic community. A bachelor degree in education and a valid Washington teaching certificate (or ability to obtain one) are required, with a preference for candidates with a Master’s degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Education or similar field (Master's preferred).
• Understanding and genuine appreciation of children.
• Desire to work in a racially and economically diverse, faith-centered community.
• Ability to utilize educational technology in the classroom.
• Preferred active Catholic.
• Current Washington teaching certificate (or ability to obtain one) with a (preferably) K-5 endorsement.
