Job summary

The Sioux Falls YMCA is seeking an After-School Program Site Coordinator for elementary students (K-5). This full-time role runs 6am-8am and 12pm-6pm, Monday through Friday, overseeing daily operations, planning engaging activities, ensuring safety, and supporting staff and volunteers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Child Development, Recreation, or related field preferred.
• Experience working with children in educational or recreational settings.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred; background check required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize daily activities that foster learning, creativity, physical activity, and social skills.
• Supervise staff and volunteers; ensure safety and adherence to program rules.
• Maintain open communication with parents and guardians about progress and events.
