Job summary

Spring Independent School District is seeking an Elementary School Assistant Principal for the Accelerating Campus Excellence (ACE) Campus in Houston. The ACE stipend of $12,000 annually accompanies this leadership role, with duties aligned to ACE turnaround expectations and strong instructional leadership.

The position reports to the Principal on Special Assignment for ACE Campus and requires a valid Texas administrator certification, a Texas teaching certificate, and a master's degree.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited college or university is required.
• Valid Texas Assistant Principal or other appropriate administrative certification is required.
• Valid Texas Teaching Certificate is required.
• Minimum of three (3) years of successful teaching experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Support the ACE instructional model implementation across the campus.
• Assist in development, implementation, and evaluation of educational programs.
• Ensure rigorous, standards-aligned instruction in all classrooms with feedback to teachers.
• Monitor instructional practices and support data-driven improvement.
• Coordinate campus operations and safety compliance as needed.

Education

Master’s degree from an accredited college or university
